CICS Wrightwood is thrilled to invite students, parents, and community members to our annual Literacy Night—a dynamic celebration of reading, poetry, and spoken word!

Theme: “Celebrating The Power of Words”

Join us for an evening of storytelling, reading engagement, and creative expression as we inspire a love for literacy and learning.

Event Highlights:

D.E.A.R. Time (Drop Everything and Read) | 5:00 PM – 5:45 PM

  • Real Men Read (Grades K-2) – Primary Wing
  • Real Men Read (Grades 3-5) – Main Floor
  • Real Men Read (Grades 6-8) – Junior Academy

 

Parent & Student Reading Lounge | 5:00 PM – 5:45 PM | Multi-Purpose Room

  • Families can enjoy a cozy space to read a chapter book or novel together.
  • Engage in discussions about themes and lessons from the stories.

 

Spoken Word Showcase | 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM | Multi-Purpose Room

  • Students, parents, and a special guest poet will take the stage to share original works and powerful performances.
